About Us

Multi-County Youth and Family Services is an Oklahoma based non-profit whose mission is to foster and promote the growth of healthy, resilient children and families through mental health services, child advocacy, education, and community intervention services. In 2018, the agency celebrated its 49th anniversary. Multi-County Youth Services evolved from a committee of concerned citizens who wished to assist youth and their families. These citizens began a battered women’s shelter, community mental health center, and youth shelter. Since the youth shelter was the last project of the committee, the agency was incorporated in 1982 under the name Committee of Concern, Inc. dba, Multi-County Youth Services. The name was recently changed to Multi-County Youth and Family Services. The agency has grown from an emergency youth shelter to a multi-faceted youth service agency serving thousands of community members yearly. The agency maintains a main office and youth shelter in Clinton. Outreach offices are located in Elk City and Weatherford. The programs consist of traditional outpatient counseling, child advocacy, prevention services, community based rehabilitation, supervised family visits, and crisis intervention.
